A FEW PRACTICAL QUESTIONS
Know what you’re starting.
Here are the questions people ask before bringing their community together. Explore the demos to see the experience, or contact us if your question is more specific.
Is HeartLynks only for associations?
No. It also serves chambers and business networks, alumni groups, nonprofits, clubs, and conferences and events. The shared purpose is giving people a place to connect and take part under your organization’s brand.
Can we use it for our particular cause or community?
Yes. You choose the branding, content, spaces, and enabled features. The organization shown in a demo is an example, not a restriction on what your community can be about.
Which languages does HeartLynks support?
HeartLynks is available in all languages. Your community can reflect the language of the people you serve.
Can we use our own name, logo, and web address?
Yes. Apply your branding and configure your community’s identity and web address using the available setup controls.
Can we start with only a few features?
Yes. Your admin can enable or disable features. Start with the spaces and activities your people need, then expand as the community develops.
Can people use the community on their phones?
Yes. Members can access the community on the web and on their phones. Explore the demo on your own device to see the experience.
What makes Spark useful?
Spark gives people a specific invitation to respond, such as a question, challenge, request for help, or shared goal. It helps your team create opportunities for participation within the community.
Is Spark a separate product or subscription?
No. Spark is part of HeartLynks and is included in Core.
Do members have to compete or appear on a leaderboard?
No. Public ranking is optional. You can choose activities and settings that suit people who prefer a quieter or more collaborative experience.
Will our people actually use it?
The trial lets you test that with your own people. Invite a small group, offer a relevant first activity, and use the dashboard to see participation. Your team’s welcomes and responses are part of the experience.
Do we need to book a sales call?
No. You can explore the demos and use the self-service setup. An optional conversation is available if you want help considering your community.
What does the Launch Kit include?
A launch plan, team tools, a calendar, and a launch report. AI assistance helps with content during the first 30 days. The included tools remain available afterward.
What happens to AI assistance after the first month?
Ongoing admin assistance is an optional paid add-on with 100 AI assists per community each month, shared across admins. You can continue creating and scheduling content yourself without it.
Can we get help setting up?
Optional professional services can help with configuration, branding, launch guidance, and training. Scope and price are agreed separately before work begins.
Does HeartLynks replace our membership database?
It can work alongside it. Use the supported CSV import to bring member information into the community and update it when your records change. We can also integrate with your AMS or database if it offers an API. Your team decides how membership changes affect access.
What if we already have a Facebook group?
You can introduce the new community gradually. Use existing channels to invite people into a useful conversation or activity, and give them a clear reason to join you there.
Who owns our content and member data?
Your organization owns its content and member data. You can export member information while your community is open. See the Privacy Policy and Terms for the applicable details.
Who moderates the community?
Your team controls moderation, permissions, and the features members see. The dashboard brings reported content and approval requests to your attention.
Can we try the demos without changing anything?
Yes. Community demos are view-only, including the available admin experience. Posting, purchases, and changes are disabled. The separate Spark simulation lets you try sample interactions without posting to a live community.
What does Core cost?
Core is $478/month when billed monthly. Annual billing is $4,588.80 upfront, equivalent to $382.40/month, saving 20% on Core. Optional add-ons and transaction fees are separate.
What is included in the trial?
The current offer includes Core and the four listed add-ons for 30 days. A payment card is required. Cancel unwanted add-ons or your subscription before the trial ends to avoid the corresponding subscription charges.
Can we cancel online?
Yes. Cancel through your admin dashboard. After the trial, cancellation leaves the subscription active through the paid period. Export your member data before the community closes. Refund terms are set out in the Terms of Service.
How can we tell whether the community is helping?
Start with what matters to your organization. Use the dashboard to follow participation, see which groups are active, and spot questions that need a response. Review those signals alongside your own renewal or giving figures to understand how the community is developing.
